Easy DIY Reversible Dog Bandana Sewing Pattern

So I have a small obsession with dog Instagram accounts. I follow way too many. But in the process of scrolling through infinite adorable pooches, I started noticing a trend. Bandanas. And I think they’re just the cutest darn things. So I decided to make one for Charlie, and then I created a printable pattern!

This bandana slides right onto an existing collar, so your pet can wear both at the same time (which was important for me because I like to make sure Charlie’s always wearing his dog tags). It’s also reversible, so it’s actually two bandanas in one. The pattern includes three different sizes, so you can make one for your shih tzu, your puggle and your golden. Or if you’re a cat person, the small size fits most cats (or can be sized down for little kitties).

I’m selling it on Etsy (don’t worry, it only costs $4. Which is significantly less than my soy vanilla lattés now cost at Starbucks… wtf is up with that?!). It’s an instant download, so you’ll be able to access the pattern immediately after you’ve purchased it. It includes step-by-step photos and written instructions, and printable patterns for sizes small, medium and large.

It’s a simple project, definitely suitable for beginners who only have basic sewing skills. It should take under an hour if you’ve done a sewing project or two in your day. Check it out here!
