New York City: An Instagram Diary

Technicolor lights in Times Square.
Red Hook in Brooklyn. Can anyone explain the history of the stars on the
buildings in Brooklyn? They’re everywhere. If so, please share in the comments!

Not just a dirty sidewalk… Williamsburg.

The other day I shared a few door photos from my recent trip to New York City, and today I wanted to share a few other images from the rest of our weekend. The fourth image down is a shot of the Design*Sponge studio, a fabulously creative blog that inspired me to create Design Fixation many years ago. Have you guys ever read it? If not, check it out. I even had the opportunity to meet the founder, Grace Bonney – she was incredibly nice!

I was very inspired by the creativity that pervaded the city. There seemed to be some type of art on every corner of every block. For a minute it made me want to move to Brooklyn and become a painter. But I won’t.

Faith
