Workspaces of Famous Creative Types

It’s always fascinating to me to see where famous artists, designers and writers create their amazing work. So today I thought I’d share a few with you. Thanks Mike for sending over the Buzzfeed article! The top office space belongs to Sharon Osbourne…. it’s comfy yet glamorous. See another photo of her space here. The next image shows famous abstract expressionist painter Willem de Kooning’s open, airy studio. Next up is Kelly Wearstler’s space… aren’t those lamps fantastic? Fourth is a photo of French painter Henri Matisse’s studio taken by Robert Capa. Interesting painting technique, right? And last is Orla Kiely’s office – I like the sense of organized chaos. And the giant poodle doesn’t hurt either.
Up tomorrow on Design Fixation – a fun Miami edition of Typeface Tuesday.
