Design Fixation: {Typeface Tuesday} A Quilled T

{Typeface Tuesday} A Quilled T

One of my weekly rituals is to sit down with a green tea latte and the NYTimes on Sundays. We're talking about the actual newspaper here people, not the website. And this past Sunday I came across something worth sharing... now I have featured the NYTimes "T" before, but I thought that this one was just as amazing. The design itself is beautiful, but it's even more unbelievable when you find out that it's made of paper using a technique called quilling. This one is created by a member of the North American Quillers Guild... see more of their stunning work here.

Later this week... elephants! You'll just have to wait and see.

  1. How nice to read your post! I'm an avid quiller and member of the NAQG. Those who worked on the T really did the organization proud by showing what can be done with simple strips of paper.

  2. Oh good, it's nice to hear from you Ann! You guys do great work over there at the NAQG. I agree, it's eye-opening to see all the amazing things that can be done with paper!
