DIY Projects For a Lazy Summer Day

Okay, so the first one is not technically a do-it-yourself project - it's a product sold by Bloom Theory. But I thought it was great inspiration for a similar project. Just head to your local fabric store to pick up some interesting ribbon, and use fabric glue to attach it to your existing camera strap.

Next is a fun project from Today's Nest (and originally found on Curbly) that could be used on any piece of wooden furniture that needs a makeover. Head over here for instructions.

Last we have a simple finger knitting project seen over on Design*Sponge... all you need is yarn! Well, and some fabric, a needle and thread. Normally I love color, but wouldn't this look great using all white yarn and fabric?

Hope you're having a great weekend.... happy crafting.

xo,
Faith

  1. Great idea for an old rocking chair sitting in the basement. Always wanted to get it caned, but never got around to it. This would be just as good or even better!
