Design Fixation: {Typeface Tuesday} Catacumba

{Typeface Tuesday} Catacumba

Hmmm, I'm not sure what happened to the bottom of that image, but you get the idea. Talk about a unique font. Catacumba, by Rui Abreu, was inspired by painted inscriptions of the Igreja de São Francisco catacombs in Porto, Portugal. Hence the name. I found this font in a wonderful article called My Favourite Fonts of 2009 on I Love Typography.
