It is always amazing to watch new technology take shape; some applications and websites become popular, some don’t. And its not always clear why. Flickr, a site with millions of photographs in no particular order from all around the world, has become an internet sensation. Some pretty awful photographs can be found; but hidden amongst these are some gems such as “Fungi Macro Abstract.” Photographs like this one make me understand the Flickr phenomenon.
